A loan of $2,125 helped to buy two bulls and two cows.

Gulisar's story

Gulisar is 42 years old, married and a mother of three children. To provide the primary source of income, she has been involved in animal husbandry since 2002, having started this business with 50,000 KGS. The main business focus is selling meat and milk. Thanks to Gulisar's hard work, today her business contains four dairy cows and five bulls, and the monthly income amounts to 8,000 som. Her daughter and husband actively help her with the business. In order to further develop her business, Gulisar requested a loan in the amount of 100,000 som (KGS) from the "Bai-Tushum and Partners" company to buy two bulls and two cows. The bulls will be used for fattening up and subsequent butchering, and the cows for increasing milk volumes. Gulisar plans to use the earnings from the loan to invest into a further expansion of her business by increasing the quantity of cows and bulls. Gulisar shared with us that she plans to marry off her daughter in the near future.
