A loan of $1,200 helped a member to buy several pigs and to upgrade the pens; they need to be improved because the pigs require a lot of care.

Granja Los Tres Chanchitos Group's story

The "La Granja los Tres Chanchitos" [The Three Little Piggies Farm] communal bank is made up of three enterprising people who want to get ahead by working in a field that they enjoy: agriculture and raising young animals.

Adan is the president of this group. He is a young man with strong ethics like being responsible, honest, and hardworking; these values were instilled in him by his parents, and they are why his family and neighbors love and appreciate him very much.

The loan requested from Fodemi will be used to purchase piglets to raise for sale. In addition, it will be used to improve the pens because piglets need to be cared for and kept in a suitable place.

Adan's dream is to buy himself a large piece of land where he can have a very large pig farm and one day be a small distributor for the markets in his city. With those earnings, he would help his mother and buy her a house, because she lives with his little brothers. This would improve the quality of life of his whole family.
