A loan of $700 helped to buy a computer that will help her with her tourism studies at the university.

Meiva's story

Meiva is single and has no children. She lives in her parents house, sharing all the rooms. She has her own room, which is her bedroom. Her parents' home is made of brick with a cement floor, and is located in the Llojeta Bajo area of the city of La Paz.

Currently she is employed as a sales supervisor for travel agency, where she earns a monthly salary that covers her transportation and food needs. She is studying at one of the universities in the city of La Paz, where she is in the third year of the tourism degree program.

She wants the loan in order to buy a laptop computer, so that she can do her university work and improve in her studies. Meiva's dream is to complete her education and to be able to work making trips to other countries; to get to know other ways of life, and be able to be independent from her family.

This is the first time she has applied for a loan with IMPRO and Kiva.
