A loan of $1,000 helped to buy meat, beverages, canned goods, and other items.

Isidro's story

Sr. Isidro and his partner, Sra. Irma, are both 59 years of age. They have five children, but only one still lives with them. The others are already grown adults.

Sr. Isidro has a well-stocked food pantry in his home where he sells to his neighbors and occasional customers. He offers beverages, sugar, rice, baked goods, and other basic household necessities. In addition, Sr. Isidro plants vegetables on a plot of land near his house. By stocking his business with his own vegetables, he is able to generate a better profit.

The loan he is requesting will be used to buy products in bulk, such as meat, beverages, canned goods, and other items. With the end of the year approaching, he wants to increase his stock since prices go up during this time. He wants to continue offering affordable prices to his customers.
