Tanveer's story

Ms. Tanveer is a 56-year-old married woman. She is a passionate woman and has been doing the work of hand embroidery on clothes and stoles for the last four years. She has been working night and day making elegant dresses for woman in her community. Her collection is very famous in her town. She beautifully makes patterns of embroidery for her customers and makes enough money to lead a decent life. Her husband is employed as a salesman in a clothes market but does not earn enough money to lead a large family of 9 members. She has been residing in a rented house for the last three years and, in this era of depression, she is living an honored life through her hard slog. Tanveer is a loving mother of three daughters and four sons. She is in charge of providing her family with good food, health and education. She wants to steady her business by taking a loan from the Kashf Foundation. She requested an amount of 18,000 PKR to enhance her business by purchasing raw materials such as packs of sequins, pearls and glittering material with spools of threads in various colors. She hopes to have more profits to better support her family.
