Mishi's story

Mishi is 32 years old, in a common-law relationship with her husband, and has six children. She and her family reside in a rural community in the town of Msambweni, Coast Province.

Mishi has been selling food products and groceries for more than five years. She sells basic grains, soft drinks, hygiene and cleaning products, flour, and snack foods.

At the moment, she is requesting a loan in the amount of 50,000 KES so that she can purchase detergents, flour, dairy products, sugar, toilet paper, and soft drinks. She says that if her business is well-stocked, she will gain more customers and increase her earnings. Her goal is to expand her shop and offer more products to her customers.
