Josephine learnt about Milango through friends who invited her to the group and she joined with the aim of accessing credit to improve her business operations. Her main challenges are competition and occasional low-business seasons. She has seen growth in her business and now intends to increase the stock in preparation for the festive season.

Josephine is applying for a loan of 85,850 Kenyan shillings to purchase additional stock of second-hand clothes. Her extra income from the loan will be added to her savings to help her meet her family's needs especially education. Her dream is to open a larger boutique.
