Ovilla's story

This is Ovilla, 37, resident of GMA, Cavite, Philippines. She is married to Isagani, a driver, and is a mother to their children. She, together with her husband, manages their household while operating the business. At this time, she is working hard to continually provide income for their everyday expenses.

Ovilla operates a food stall. She sells street foods like chicken intestine, other chicken parts and barbecue that she sells in their community. She also has a variety store and vegetable vending business for additional income. Her regular customers are her neighbors and the local community. She earns a minimum of Php300 in sales every day.

To help her continue operations of her business, she is requesting a Php13,000 loan. She will be utilizing the loan to buy more raw products and supplies she uses in her business. She expects a boost in her income as she expands her business.

Ovilla dreams to be able to give her children a high quality education through all her hard work on her business. She faithfully meets up with her co-fellowship members to share stories of her work every week and where she can also draw strength and inspiration from the Word of God she studies.
