A loan of $1,950 helped a member purchase vegetables, fruit, groceries, drinks, and other merchandise.

San Jose Group's story

The group was formed in San Jose barrio, Caaguazu city, and includes 13 humble married women. Their proposal was to obtain financial aid because they desired personal and work advancement.

Benicia is an example of their struggle. Every day she begins work very early in the morning in her little store. She comments that starting with very little, her business is growing and aggrandizing and it helps a lot to always have what her customers need.

Benicia is requesting a loan to buy vegetables, fruit, groceries, drinks, and other products in order to re-stock her store.

In this group: Lilian Carolina, Adriana, Irene, Benicia, Sergia, Ninfa, Gregoria, Maria Amelia, Quintina, Lorenza, Leonarda, Clara Yahari, Elva Ester
