A loan of $200 helped to purchase lingerie and jewelry.

Carmen Relinda's story

Carmen is 51 years old. She has 4 children, 2 of whom still depend on her. Several years ago, she started her business selling food and candy in the Matucana area. Realizing that she needed to increase her income, she moved to the city; there, she was able to secure a stand and started a new business, selling lingerie and jewelry. One of her daughters works with her.
Carmen tells us that her business is generating good sales. Thanks to her business, she has been able to help her partner with household expenses. Her greatest wish is to continue to grow her business. She intends to use this loan to purchase lingerie and jewelry. She is grateful to Kiva investors for the help they have given her, as it has allowed her to progress.
