A loan of $700 helped to pay for soft drinks, recharge cards, and Ovaltine.

Rebecca F.'s story

This is 46 year-old Rebecca. She is married and has three children aged seven, twelve, and twenty-one. She has two additional dependents who live with her to help her younger sisters with their schooling.

In 2011, Rebecca established her provisions, drinks, cigarette, and pure water business. She began her business because she wants to assist her husband, who is a teacher, with running the affairs of the home. Her business is located in outskirts of town and her main customers are adults. Working 7 days a week and 12 hours a day, she earns about 1,728,000 SLL every month from this business. She would like a loan in the amount of 3,000,000 SLL.

Rebecca has already received and successfully repaid two loans, and now requires a new loan in order to buy soft drinks, recharge cards, and Ovaltine. She hopes that this loan can improve her stock, increase sales, and maximize profits.

In the future, Rebecca plans to expand the business to the center of town as it can increase her profits. She thanks ARD for the support. She thanks you for your support.
