Maria Elena's story

Maria sells pupusas (a tradicional Salvadoran dish). She has an 8 year old daughter and started her business as a source of additional income so that her family would have what it needed. Her sales hours are from 7 a.m. until 10 a.m.

She is requesting a loan to purchase ingredients for her business such as cooking oil, condiments, pork rinds and cheese in order to improve her production output of pupusas and thus her income.

Maria’s aspiration is for her family to have a decent, worthwhile life.
