A loan of $700 helped a member to buy ten sacks of yams and five kilograms of beans.

Deyédjrodo Gérardine's Group's story

This is a group of two women acting as mutual guarantors. 49 years old, Deyédjrodo Gérardine is the supervisor - she is married and the mother of five children, three of whom are in school. The eldest is 36 and the youngest 15 years old. She has sold donuts and fried yams for several years, and buys her provisions in one of Bénin's markets. Experienced in business, she has sought financing from Finadev in order to increase her purchasing power and thus meet customer demand. The delayed interest payments on this loan will allow her to help with the children's school fees, and to meet their needs. Deyédjrodo Gérardine is on the left in the photo.

In this group: Deyédjrodo Gérardine, Christine
