Las Hormiguitas Group's story

Greetings from Peru!!! This is the "Las Hormiguitas" [Little Ants] group made up of eight enthusiastic and hardworking women who through their businesses have achieved a better quality of life for their families. Julia is the group's president, a job she has carried out responsibly. She is 51 years old, married and has four children of whom she continues to support two. Ms. Julia earns a living selling prepared foods out of a market stall. She has been working in this line of business for 25 years. Julia tells us that she has developed a loyal following of customers.

The loan she is seeking is intended for the purchase of supplies such as rice, sugar and milk so as to serve her diners well. Her greatest wish is to have her own stall since at the moment she is renting. The "Las Hormiguitas" group appreciates the loan they have been given since it makes their progress possible. Julia is located in the back row, second from the left, and is wearing a blue top.

In this group: Judith Eugenia, Leidy Betsy, Julia, Ana Maria, Adriana Elena, Lucy Celita, Sara, Miluska Mercedes
