Andrew's story

Andrew is a 32-year-old married man. He has three children with ages ranging from 2 years to 7 years. He describes himself to be honest and a hardworking man. He operates a retail business where he sells water. He has been involved in this business for 2 years. His business is located at a populated rural area and his primary customers are residents from surrounding villages.

Andrew describes his biggest business challenge to be frequent water rationing on days like Monday, Wednesday and Friday. He will use the Kes 50,000 loan to buy water storage containers. His business goal is to expand his business by buying a water harvesting tank for water storage and be a supplier within 5 years. He hopes that in the future, he will have a happy family whose living standard he will have improved with the profits from the business. This is his second loan with SMEP DTM.
