Sylivia's story

Sylivia is lives in Kampala, Uganda. She is married with daughter that goes to school. She is also responsible for her mother. She sells second hand clothes at the market. She has been in line of work for the last 3 years. She gets additional income from a food stall. She works six days a week. She has requested for a loan of 300,000 Ugandan Shillings from MCDT – SACCO to buy a bale of second hand clothes. Her major business challenges are transportation and seasonality. Her goal and aspiration is to buy a truck for transporting her stock to the shop. She lives in a rented house and the family has access to electricity and piped water. Her monthly expenses include school fees and food.
