Gaudence's story

Gaudence lives in Kampala, Uganda. She is married with three children that all go to school. She has no additional family members to support. She sells milk in a shop that she rents. She also gets additional income from selling fruits and vegetables at the market. She has been in this business for the last 2 years and works six days a week. She has requested a loan of 200,000 Uganda shillings from MCDT – SACCO to buy jerry cans of milk. Her major business challenges are transportation and seasonality. Her goals and aspirations are to become a wholesaler and to build rental houses. She lives in her own house and her family has access to electricity and piped water. Her monthly expenses include school fees and food.
