A loan of $2,000 helped a member to buy vegetables, fruits, dairy products, baked goods, and other foods to sell.

Koe Pyta Group's story

The committee “Ko´e Pyta” is made up of various neighbors in the city of Santaní. They are 12 hardworking and enterprising women who truly want to get ahead and work to give their families everything that they could not have growing up.

One of these women is Señora Ceveriana, who works in retail. She owns a small, well-stocked grocery store that supplies the kitchens in her neighborhood and always offers a good variety of products. Señora Ceveriana recounts that her store grew very slowly but now, thanks to her hard work and sacrifice, it has become the store it is now. She is requesting this loan to buy vegetables, fruits, dairy products, baked goods, and other food items to stock her store.
