A loan of $5,000 helped a member to buy all kinds of fruit for making fruit salads.

Madres Luchadoras Group's story

The 'Madres luchadoras' (hard-working women) committee has 17 members. They are all mothers who work as hard as they can for their children. They work to get ahead in life and to provide their children with everything they need to live a better life without hardships.

Gertrudis is a member of this hard-working group. Her business is selling fruit salads. She also sells lottery tickets and caranday fruit. As you can see, she is a very hard-working woman who would like to make progress in life through her work. She knows that this is the only way to follow her dreams and achieve her goals.

Gertrudis is requesting this loan to buy a variety of fruit so that she can continue making fruit salad which is her main product.

In this group: Maria, Nancy, Albina, Raquel, Nidia, Lilian, Liliana, Librada, Gisselle, Getrudis, Delia, Cinthia, Lorena, Alicia, Carmen, Maria, Jessy
