A loan of $600 helped to buy parts for his motorcycle so he can repair it at the mechanic's shop and update his registration.

Francisco's story

Francisco, 56, is a good, friendly, and responsible man. He lives with his wife they 3 children. In addition to his wife, he also lives with his granddaughter, 17. The two of them are his main reason for moving forward since his sons are independent adults.

He makes his living transporting passengers with his mototaxi. He works in and around the city depending on the destination of his clients. He has been in this type of work for 9 years. When he began work with his mototaxi, it took a lot of effort. He was not accustomed to this kind of work and suffered from kidney problems, but over the years he has acclimated to the rhythm of this kind of work and now he is an expert. What he likes about this kind of work is it allows him to create his own schedule and to rest when he feels the need.

The mototaxi also serves as a mode of transport for his family. He does not feel any pressure while working. It is going very well for him thanks to his increasing fleet of mototaxi; he now has one more.

This is Francisco's 13th loan with MFP. He is happy and appreciates the financial support that it offers to continue his business. He also feels comfortable with the loan consultant and the other members of the communal bank. He knows that the majority of its members are his neighbors and considers them responsible.

With the 1500 soles he is requesting, he will buy parts to fix his other mototaxi, as well as pay the mechanic to complete the repairs. He will also obtain his registration so he can continue working without any concerns.
