A loan of $450 helped to buy basic grains like rice, beans, and corn.

Rosa Concepción's story

Doña Rosa is a small merchant who for eight years has sold fruit, vegetables, and basic grains. She started out with very little money selling plantains, tomatoes, and onions and little by little, thanks to her perseverance and dedication to her work, her business has improved. Nonetheless, higher demand means more customers and that's why she needs some capital right now to provide her customers with a wider variety of goods such as grains, rice, beans, corn, etc. She's a capable person who likes her work, handles her clients well, and dreams of having an establishment where her customers feel satisfied. That's the way she plans to improve her family's living conditions and provide the best food and education to her children.
