A loan of $350 helped to invest in working capital and to maintain his cyber machines.

Amilcar Andres's story

Amilcar Andrés, 35, is from the town of Chinandega. He is married with no children. He has a business offering raised texts, scanning and copying, among other services. His business, which he has run for the past eight years, is located in his home. He started the business on his own initiative in order to improve his household's income.

Amilcar has already worked with Fundación León and has demonstrated his commitment to making his payments on time. He needs funding to invest in working capital and to do maintenance on his machines. He is grateful for the help that Kiva lenders have given to people with scarce resources and to poor countries such as Nicaragua so they can provide sources of worthwhile work.
