Joayhu Group's story

The "Joayhu" communal bank is comprised of women from the San Ignacio area. All the members are friends and neighbors from the neighborhood. Their goal is to start businesses and work together.
Carolina is a laundress and she reports that she has always had a great deal of work to do. She also reports that through her laundry business she has been able to provide her family with everything they need in order to live a decent life. She's very hardworking and makes sacrifices for her family.
She requests this loan in order to purchase soap, softener, fabric freshener and other supplies she needs so that she can keep on working.
