A loan of $1,000 helped a member to purchase clothing (blouses, t-shirts, pants, jeans and sports clothing for women, men and children) to sell in the city.

Moda Y Lujo Group's story

The solidarity group is made up of two very enterprising homemakers who saw the opportunity to grow, help their families and provide their children with everything that they need by means of clothing sales. Blanca, as president of this group, is known for her great faith and work. She demonstrates deeply-rooted values such as tranquility, honesty, a very friendly nature and a great deal of strength by getting her family out of poverty.

Blanca’s dream is to have a large business premises where she herself makes and sells clothing and is thus able to continue helping in the house and together with her husband manage to give the best education to her children so that they become professionals.

The loan requested from Fodemi is to be able to continue buying more clothing merchandise since in these days of the Christmas season they sell a lot and thus they can continue growing as small businesswomen.

In this group: Blanca, Silvia
