A loan of $1,500 helped to buy a larger quantity of perfumes and cosmetics, including hair products.

Mabet Anamín's story

Mabet is 34 years old. She is a widow; her husband passed away when she was six months pregnant. Today her daughter is 16 months old. Mabet lives with her mother and her daughter. She has worked as a beautician for a year now, having studied in a specialized academy. She rents two locales where she has set up her beauty salons. She has two employees. She buys beauty products wholesale and both sells them and uses them in the salon. The city where she buys them is eight kilometres from her home.

The loan that she is requesting from Fundacíon Campo is to buy more perfumes, cosmetics and other hair products. With this investment she hopes to expand her business, to increase her income to help to meet the needs of her family and, of course, to make her business more competitive. Her larger goal is to work to provide her daughter with education.
