A loan of $275 helped to buy materials to make a pig pen.

Eleo Moises's story

Eleo is 22 years old and lives in the city of Ica, in the Santiago district, with his partner and their little 2-year-old daughter. He loves his family and they are his main motivation in life. He is a very kind, hard-working, and enthusiastic person, who does everything he can to support his family. Unfortunately, Eleo was not able to become a policeman as he would have liked, because he had to start working when he was very young due to financial problems which meant he had to support his mother and his younger siblings. In his free time, he likes to play football with his friends, and his partner sometimes spoils him by making delicious Tallerines Rojos [a Peruvian spaghetti dish] because it is his favorite food.

On his own initiative, and with a lot of hard work and dedication, Eleo works as an agricultural worker on an farm in his city. He works every day from early in the morning. He enjoys doing this work, and he is doing well; something which he believes is down to his hard work and his friendly attitude towards others.

Eleo is very grateful to the Kiva lenders, because with their help he will be able to buy wood, iron, wire, and other materials as he would like to make a small pen to rear pigs in. In that way he will be able to continue working hard to achieve his dream of becoming a policeman and be able to move his family forward.
