A loan of $900 helped a member to buy foodstuffs and fruit.

Wangnignigbe Group's story

The WANGNIGNIGBE group is made up of three people who all live in the same neighborhood. The group's representative, Delphine (who is raising her hand in the photo), is 38 years old and mother of three children, all of whom live in her care. Delphine is a widow. She lives with her children.

Delphine has been selling foodstuffs and fruit from home for about ten years now. She stocks up at various markets in Benin. Her business allows her to support herself and her children without much difficulty.

Delphine and the other members of the WANGNIGNIGBE group are seeking a fourth loan from ALIDé in order to increase their working capital, strengthen their business, and better meet the demand of their customers. The previous loans were all correctly repaid.
