A loan of $200 helped to buy 10 sacks of organic fertilizer.

Pablo's story

Pablo, 53, lives with Teodosia. They live with one child in their own home, located in an indigenous community in the central jungle. Pablo is a responsible and charismatic person. His main activity is farming. He cultivates coffee and a small amount of bananas on 6 parcels of land that he was granted by his community. "I'm engaged in producing more coffee because it is very profitable, and because I already have regular customers for each harvest," he says.

However, to get good harvests he also has to take pains to care for the crops and fertilize them. He does this crop maintenance every 6 months, and this requires him to get sacks of organic fertilizer. At times he has to hire people to finish this activity on time, but as Pablo arranges his time intelligently, this creates no problems for him. This time, he will carry out the maintenance work on his crops, and he needs your support. This is Pablo's first loan with MFP, and he is committed to making his payments on time.

Pablo is a member of the communal bank “Los Clavelitos de Shankivironi," and he shows a willingness to participate in its activities. With the 500 Peruvian soles he requests, he will buy 10 sacks of organic fertilizer, such as poultry guano, for his coffee crops.
