Agress's story

Agress lives in Kampala, Uganda. She is married with two children, and one of her children goes to school. She has no additional family members. She operates a retail shop that she rents. She also has a motorcycle to generate additional income. She has been in business for the last 5 years. She works seven days a week. She has requested a loan of 1,500,000 UGX from MCDT – SACCO to buy bags of sugar, cooking oil, flour, rice, soap and crates of soda. Her major business challenges are transportation and seasonality. Her goals are to educate her children to university level and own a wholesale shop. She lives in a rented house, where the family has access to electricity and does not have access to piped water. Her monthly expenses include school fees and food.
