Paulina's story

Mrs. Paulina is 42 years old, and is married with two children ages 21 and 19, both of whom study. She lives in the Villa Adela zone of the city of El Alto. Mrs. Paulina works selling a variety of basic needs items in her neighborhood store that is found in the same zone where she lives. This loan is her first sequence with the Kiva field partner institution. Mrs. Paulina is going to use this loan to buy a variety of products like crackers, soft-drinks, and a variety of sweets in order to supply her store. She will also buy groceries and in that way provide a variety of products for her customers. Her reason for requesting this loan is to continue improving her business. Mrs. Paulina is going to use the income to continue buying products and thereby improving her income. Her desire is to have her own general store and thus to bring better service to her customers. Mrs. Paulina is a very hard-working person and she feels glad for the opportunity that has been granted her through this credit.
