Joshua is a 42-year-old, hard-working man, who lives in Fort Portal, Uganda. For eleven years he has been distilling alcohol, and he also farms. Like most good fathers, he dreams of educating his children to attain degrees, and setting up sustainable income-generating activities, to secure their futures. His business goals are to add value to his alcohol by setting up a refinery, and to venture into modern farming activities. Joshua is requesting a loan to buy inputs, such as bananas, for distilling alcohol.
This loan provides farmers and low-income entrepreneurs from underserved rural areas with access to financial services. By supporting this loan, you allow more farmers and rural entrepreneurs to access capital.
