Irène's Group's story

This is a group of two women who have taken out a joint loan. Irene, the leader, is 42 years old. She is married and the mother of two children who attend school. The two children are 19 and 7 years of age. Irene has been selling cosmetic products, hair extensions, shirts, and shoes for several years. She gets her supplies at one of the markets in Benin. In hopes of increasing her turnover and to meet the demands of her customers, she requested and got a loan through Finadev in order to maximize her profit and to contribute to the education of her children. Irene is to the left in the photo.
