Arminda's story

Arminda is a very hard working woman who lives with her family in the city of Guadalupe, which is located north of the capital of our country. It is a very warm city where there is much agriculture. Arminda's parents taught her at a young age the value of hard work and how to struggle to get what she wanted despite adversities. Therefore, little by little, with much effort Arminda started her grocery business a year ago. It is located in the city market and every day Arminda workes nine hours attending to up to 25 customers a day. She believes business is going so well because she is kind to the customers and offers them quality products.

Arminda is very grateful to Kiva lenders because thanks to them she can buy more merchandise for her business, such as lima beans, peas, potato starch, peppers and wholesale dry beans, among other items. This means whe will have a wider variety of products so she can continue striving to reach her goal: "To have her own shop".
