Serapio's story

Serapio is from Bramadero Teustepe. He is 51 years old and the father of six children, ages 14, 15, 17, 24, 25 and 27. He is single and a farmer who grows corn and beans. His father taught him farming when he was ten. First he grew grains for the family and then he decided to sell them to others. This is how he increased his production, which improved the quality of life for his family. He hopes to continue working, growing his business and increasing his crop production.
Serapio is asking for this loan in order to pay for workers and to buy supplies such as manure and fertilizer. He wants to offer a quality product to his customers. In this way he will improve the earnings of his business. His future plans include buying land so his children can inherit it. One of his goals is to buy construction materials to use to improve his home and give his family a proper place to live.
