Pedro Jose's story

Peter is from the region of La Joya and the town of Boaco. He is married and works in agriculture. He grows corn and beans. He is the father of a three-year-old boy. He started his business with his own money. This money he earned working in farms harvesting coffee in Costa Rica. This work allowed him to generate income to use to support his family. He would like to grow basic grains in his community. He hopes to grow his business so that he has more earnings. He will use this money to buy animals such as cattle.
Peter is asking for this loan in order to hire workers and buy supplies such as fertilizer and manure. He believes that this loan will be very helpful with increasing his harvest. This will increase his earnings. He will use the earnings to finance his next harvest. He will also get a better price for his grains. His goal is to pay off this loan so that he can ask for another loan, which he will use to buy cattle and land to grow crops.
