A loan of $425 helped to buy tires, aluminum rims, bicycle frames, inner tubes, seats and hubs for his bicycle repair shop.

Richard Rafael's story

Richard, 37 years old, lives in the city of León. He is married and the father of two children.

He works as a merchant, repairing bicycles and selling spare parts. He began with a small loan he got through a neighbor, and was offering his bicycle repair service neighbor to neighbor and soon afterwards began to sell bicycle parts. He has been doing this activity for four years in a small facility that he rents.

His wife works as a stylist in a beauty salon and they share in the daily feeding of their children.

He is asking for funding in order to buy tires, aluminum rims, bicycle frames, inner tubes, seats, and hubs. This will help him to maintain his business and attract more clients. One of his plans for the future is selling car parts.
