Saima's story

Ms. Saima is a 26-year-old married woman. She has been in the business of sewing for many years. She is well familiar with stitching techniques. She initiated her business with the support of Kashf Foundation, and she took her first loan to buy a sewing machine.

At present, she enjoys a great client list and has gained a lot of appreciation and popularity in her community. She has four children, among them only one daughter is school-going. She is striving to meet their demands including food, clothing and education. Her husband is employed in a small restaurant. His income is not sufficient to meet daily expenditures.

Saima started her business to contribute to the family income. She requested a loan of Rs 25,000 to buy spools of threads and packs of buttons and zippers in different colors. Then she would be able to meet the demand of her customers without fail.

Saima hopes to grow her business and dreams of giving a good and quality education to her children through all her hard work in her business.
