Isabel's story

Isabel, who is 48, lives in her own house with her two children. She has now been running her shop for a number of years. The shop is situated in her home, which she has adapted to attract customers' attention. Her neighbours are complimentary both about her work and about Isabel as a person. She is well known and popular as she is a very friendly and hardworking woman, and she has gained the trust of her neighbours, who can see how she has bettered herself day by day.

Her dearest wish is to continue making an income from her business which, to date, has helped her to cover most of her household needs. She decided to apply for this loan to enable her to increase her stock, as she does not have the means to make such an investment on her own. The loan which she is seeking from INTEGRAL will be used to buy a range of goods for the shop, such as: corn, rice, oil, rice, sugar, beans, sweets, drinks, macaroni, soups, etc. She wants to meet growing market demand, as this will allow her to increase her income and provide better opportunities in life for her family.
