The "7 de agosto" ["August 7"] committee was formed by several neighboring women in the city of Santaní. They are 13 very hard-working and, above all, entrepreneurial women. They are all rural woman who, despite their scarce resources, want to get ahead and help their families. All the members make their living by raising and selling farm animals such as chickens, goats, cows, and more. This is how they help their families.

Fabiola, one of the members, is applying for a loan in order to buy animal feed as well as various grains.

El comité “7 de agosto” se formó con la unión de varias vecinas de la ciudad de Santaní, son 13 mujeres muy trabajadoras y por sobre todo emprendedoras. Todas ellas son mujeres de campo, que pese a su escaso recurso quieren salir adelante y ayudar a sus familias.
Todas las integrantes se dedican a la cría y venta de animales de corral, como ser gallinas, cabras, vacas y demás, y por medio de esto ayudan a sus familias.
Fabiola, una de las miembros, solicita el crédito para poder comprar balanceados para sus animales y también distintos granos.
