Mujeres Anfitrionas Group's story

The Mujeres Anfitrionas group started by bringing together a collection of working women from the same place. This group is from the city of San Lorenzo, where each one of the women works independently but also help each other make headway. Carmen, one of the members, is a seamstress. She says her business is growing thanks to the help she is receiving from her fellow members and Kiva partner Fundacion Paraguaya. Her goal is to be able to have a big sewing workshop and to be able to help her fellow members with their jobs. She is requesting the loan to purchase fabrics, threads, buttons and other sewing supplies so she can keep working and growing her business.
