A loan of $350 helped to buy a secondhand motorcycle.

Eric Jack's story

Eric is a man of 26. He is single and lives in the city of Pucallpa. He has a young son who is 4 years old, whom he loves and who is his principal reason for living. He is a very kind, hard-working, and enthusiastic person who dedicates all his efforts to raising his little one. Thanks to his efforts, Eric was able to study for a career as a systems engineer. In his free time he likes to play soccer with his little son, and sometimes they enjoy eating a delicious ceviche together, which is the favorite dish of both.

On his own initiative, with much effort and dedication, Eric works every day as a deliveryman for a messaging business in his city. He can work about 8 hours a day. Eric feels comfortable doing his work and believes that it is going well for him because he is very responsible and works well with others.

Eric is very grateful to the Kiva lenders, since thanks the help offered he will be able to make the purchase of a small secondhand motorcycle. In this way Eric will be able to transport himself from the remoteness of his home to his work center, and he will be able to make deliveries of messages more rapidly. Thus he will continue working and striving to reach his goals and his dream of having his own house, where he will be able to offer well-being and security to his little son.
