A loan of $350 helped to buy construction materials.

Genaro Servellon's story

Matagalpa, known as "la perla de Septentrión," (the pearl of Septentrión), is located in the northern part of Nicaragua. It is very important for the great quality of its coffee production. Genearo Servellon lives in this beauty city. He is married, and his family is comprised of four children. Only one of them is in school. Genaro is known for being an honorable and responsible man. Above all, he is a hard-worker with the motivation to get his family ahead. He currently works for a company as a bricklayer. He has shown very good work for over 22 years in this job. He uses his salary for household expenses. This way he provides daily support for his family. He will use the loan to improve the roof of his house because it is a bit damaged. The materials he will buy are six pieces of zinc sheeting and roof purlins.
