A loan of $500 helped buy fertilizer, seeds, and prepare his fields for planting.

Jose Noe's story

Jose is 32 years old and lives with his wife in the home of his parents who depend upon him. He also has a 5 year old son.

Jose grows basic grains, sowing corn and yuca (cassava). He learned this work from his parents. At present, he has a fields of 2 manzanas (1.4 hectares) in size planted in corn, and 1 manzana (.7 hectare) planted in yuca.

Jose is requesting a loan to buy fertilizer and seeds and to prepare the soil. With these inputs he will be able to continue working in agriculture.

Jose's aspiration is to strengthen his plantings, obtaining better harvests, and with this to help his family.
