A loan of $550 helped to buy tin roofing, wood, and pay for labor.

Daysis Del Socorro's story

Daysis del Socorro lives in the town of Santa Rosa del Peñón, a precious city where people perform different types of jobs.

Daysis needs a loan from Kiva and Ceprodel to buy tin roofing, wood, and to pay for labor. The loan will help her because it will allow her family to live in better conditions, under a secure roof, with everything they need to be safer.

She is a single mother with a young son in her care. She works as a primary school teacher, and with her small salary she takes care of her son and helps her mother with food, but due to the need that has arisen in her house she is asking for a loan.

At this time she has good health, love of her work, and her small home that she has been constructing through the many challenges that have presented themselves throughout her life.

She is grateful to Kiva and Ceprodel for having given their friendly hand in this loan that has permitted development in her life and that of her family.
