A loan of $2,100 helped to prepare greenhouses and to buy seeds, plastic greenhouse covering, and fertilizer.

Tatyana's story

Tatyana grows tomatoes, cucumbers, and radishes in greenhouses to sell at the markets in the region where she lives. She has been doing this business for 20 years. She has 2 greenhouses, plus another one for seedlings. She wants to take a loan of 17,000 Ukrainian Hryvnia to prepare the greenhouses for planting tomatoes and to buy seed, plastic covering, manure and other fertilizers for the new season. This year, Tatyana plans to put a second layer of plastic film on her greenhouses so she can plant her vegetables a little earlier, thereby allowing her to start selling them earlier.
