A loan of $1,075 helped to buy oil, sugar, rice, etc.

Hilda Antonia's story

Hilda lives in Fortín, in the northern part of the city of Guayaquil. She's a single mother who has a six-year-old child who's in school. Five years ago she started opening a grocery store in her neighborhood because she saw the need for her neighbors, who didn't have any store close to home. She began selling tuna, oil, and soda. Hilda's dream is to have a small supermarket. With the loan she wants to buy general provisions such as oil, sugar, rice, etc.
