Mariam's story

Mariam is the mother of two daughters. She lives in Shaki village of Syunik region with her husband, two daughters, father-in-law and mother-in-law. The main income of the family comes from agriculture. They keep pigs, cows, and chickens. They also cultivate wheat and grow apple trees. Mariam has applied for this loan in order to increase the number of livestock, as well as to buy grass and wheat seeds. She plans to hire workers to make the cultivation as well as purchase fuel for the agricultural technique. This loan will also help Mariam to cover these costs. Mariam hopes that with the help of the loan the sales of wheat will grow and she will be able to cover the basic needs of her family and ensure the future of her two daughters.
