Winfred's story

Winfred is 33, married to Muange, and they are blessed with two children. She owns a boutique in Kibwezi town where she sells things like perfumes, ladies clothes and gents clothing.

She has been in this business for the last seven years and gets an income of 30,000 Kenyan Shillings (KES) per month. She is applying for her first loan of 100,000 KES from KADET Ltd. with which she plans to purchase more business stock like clothes and perfumes to meet the demand of her customers during this high season.

Winfred will use the extra profit to educate her children. She hopes to be able to open a salon and mini-super markets.
