Moth's story

Moth is a 26-year-old married man who is responsible for two school-aged children. He and his family live in Kompong Speu province, Cambodia. Moth is an independent entrepreneur whose job is to produce and sell charcoal. He also does farming in the rainy season. Moth usually makes approximately $2 US per day from each business.

To help in his farming business, Moth would like to take out a loan to purchase cows to maintain the rice field. They would also be raised for offspring. Moth hopes that his living conditions will improve and that he can afford to send his children to a higher level of education in the future.
