A loan of $475 helped to buy fabric and thread.

Lita's story

Lita is 36 years old and is a cheerful, fighter and enterprising woman. She is separated from her husband and lives with her parents, her sister and her three underage children. They all live in her parents house. Lita makes a living from sewing, which she learned by watching her friends. Since she liked it, she decided to begin sewing two years ago. Currently, she is sought for of her beautiful workmanship, which motivates her to continue working. She has many customers now and lots of orders to deliver. She has the support of her oldest daughter, who is also learning the trade, which makes her proud.

She believes her business is profitable because of the demand she has and the income she makes.

She enjoys her work as it provides substantial income to pay the household expenses and to provide a better quality of life for her children, but what she doesn't enjoy about her work is that she has to work until late at night to finish and deliver the orders on the days requested. But this doesn't discourage her and she would like to expand her business, installing more sewing machines and hiring personnel.

This would be her third loan with the institution MFP. She is very pleased to have the working capital thanks to the institution and in that way be able to deliver the jobs she has outstanding. She is also very pleased with her group for the kind treatment she receives.

With the loan requested of 1200 nuevos soles, she will invest it entirely in buying sewing materials such as fabric and thread, searching for low prices by buying with cash and in high volume.
